The English Football League Cup was first held in 1960-61 and it is one of the top three football competitions in England. The tournament is played over seven rounds, with single leg ties throughout, except the semi-finals. The final is held at Wembley Stadium and it is the only tie in the competition played at a neutral venue and on a weekend………..so, if you are off to Wembley on Sunday, Masterflex  hopes you enjoy your day!!

Congratulations to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.  Yesterday Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her Sapphire Jubilee…..65 years on the throne!!.  On the 6^th February 1952, her Father, King George VI passed away in his sleep at Sandringham, at the age of 56 years old.  Princess Elizabeth ascended the throne at the age of 25 and the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II took place on 2^nd June 1953.  On behalf of Masterflex Technical Hoses Limited, may we wish her all the health and happiness for her future.

It’s summer, it’s been two years since the world cup, and that can mean only one thing to followers of football,,, THE EUROS ARE HERE!

Things kick off Friday 10^th at 8pm UK time, with France V Romania. France would seem to have the edge based on recent form, but of the last five times these two have met, four matches have ended in a draw.

England’s tournament begins on Saturday 11^th at 8pm, against Russia. England’s form put them favourite, but with one win each from the last two meetings, it could go either way.
