Masterflex are continually dealing with parcels coming in and out of the building, but

today’s delivery was slightly different …….. the box was filled with biscuits!

A company from Cornwall requested a sample from us, and sent the box of treats as a thank you to Masterflex.

How will you be celebrating?

Did you know Burns Night is annually celebrated in Scotland on or around January 25?

It commemorates the life of the bard (poet) Robert Burns, who was born on January 25, 1759.

The day also celebrates Burns’ contribution to Scottish culture. Burns’ best known work is “Auld Lang Syne”.

Here at Masterflex, we are getting ready to carry out some yearly traditions.

Marketing goes to Thailand

Masterflex‘s marketing assistant Hayley, is away on her holidays to Thailand.

Hayley has organised two weeks of travelling around Singburi, 4 hours north of Bangkok, to see the old temples, and work with the elephants in Umphang.

‘Having never been to Asia, this is something I have always wanted to do, as well as experience the culture and atmosphere of this country’

While Hayley is away, its business as normal at Masterflex.

Remember Remember the 5th November

Its that time of the year were the winter woolies have been dug out of the wardrobe, sparklers have been bought and the parkin is in the oven cooking.

With the gloves and scarf on, it is exciting to see the colourful fireworks light up the night sky with the big bangers, beautiful fountains and screaming rockets.

Here at Masterflex, we have been creating a few sparks of our own from the machines that produce the hoses and ductings, specifically designed to withstand high temperatures up to 1100°C?

At the higher end of the temperature range, we create Master Clip 1100, which is used for exhaust fume extraction on large capacity engines, and automotive and aircraft manufacturing.

Medium to high temperature hoses such as Master Sil can be used for gases, plastic industry and waste incinerators. Temperatures can accommodate anything up to 250°C

At the lower end of the scale we make Master Clip Vinyl B which has been designed for air conditioning and ventilation extraction systems.

Masterflex prepare for important visitors

This week we have had 2 members of the senior management team visit Masterflex UK.

Ole Stein – Managing Director of Sales for Europe and Anthony Quinn – Director of Group Marketing came to our manufacturing plant in Oldham to discuss group improvements.

Both Ole and Anthony are based at the Masterflex SE head office in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, and this was Anthony’s first visit to the UK plant.

 Masterflex have offices and manufacturing facilities throughout Europe, America and Asia that specialise in producing Hoses and Ductings to the highest standard.
