Masterflex visits the Great Yorkshire Show

On Wednesday 9th July, Masterflex-UK sent Hayley, their newest team member, to the Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate.

Hayley was tasked with the job of finding out what type of flexible hose and ductings are currently used within the agricultural industry. She visited the show with her pen in her hand looking for answers.

The show grounds were huge, showing the best Horses, Cattle and Sheep from all over the country and competitions were being held throughout the day to judge the best home-made cheese and pies.

As the sun shone above, Hayley headed over to the agricultural machinery section for flexible hoses and ductings.

Interacting with various manufacturers, distributors and end users allowed research to be carried out on products already being used within this industry.

It is clear to see that the agricultural industry is certainly using many different types of flexible hoses, including:

Further research is now needed to see whether parts are imported from the UK or abroad so its back to the office for Hayley.

Masterflex at TIMBER EXPO 2013

Masterflex UK technical hoses was happy to attend the Timber Expo 2013 at Birmingham NEC. It was good to touch base with our colleagues in the timber industry and to create further contacts, and of course to see the technical hoses in use. We are always happy to welcome new customers and discuss our technical hoses.
