Social Media is the key

social-media-recruitment

Social media has become an important tool for Masterflex, like the machinery we use to manufacture the hoses and ductings, it opens up opportunities to encourage other people to get in connect while promoting the Masterflex brand.

These new developments have allowed us to interact with new followers, developing long-lasting relationships with our clients.

These quick and easy social platforms all allow regular information to be sent to people about products that we manufacture, then shared between their own network of friends.

Masterflex are currently using Facebook, Twitter, Linked in, Google + and Pinterest to interact with new customers across the UK and further a field.

If you would like a quote on any item we produce whether it’s for Woodworking, Construction, Air Conditioning and Ventilation, Automotive or Asbestos removal, there are many different ways to get in touch.

Masterflex are reaching out to the agricultural industry

Masterflex specialise in flexible hoses for the Woodworking, Automotive, Heating and Ventilation industry

We are currently trying to establish whether any opportunities exist within the agricultural sector for our product types.  agricultural machinery manufacturers

The agricultural industry gives many opportunities for using high quality hoses and fittings with traditional and new products:

We have identified the following applications in which our product range may be used.

  • seed drilling hoses
  • pneumatic hoses for machinery components
  • cooling parts for engines
  • animal feeding
  • cooling and ventilation hoses for animal sheds

Within these applications we have identified the following hose product types

  • spiral hoses: – abrasion resistant Pu-hoses for the transport of seed
  • pneumatic hoses: – pneumatic function hoses for machinery components
  • components: – cooling for engines – heating hoses for cabins
  • spiral & pneumatic hoses: – conveying machinery for animal feed
  • hoses for air conditioning: – ooling and ventilation hoses for animal sheds

We would like to have a better understanding of this industry, and therefore if there is anyone out there involved in the manufacture or distribution of agricultural machinery incorporating flexible hose or ductings, we would be more than happy to hear from you

High Temperature Hose range from UK manufacturer: Masterflex Technical Hoses Ltd

Master-Clip Iso Silicone Hose from Masterfex Technical Hose Ltd

At Masterflex we have a range of technical hose designed and manufactured specifically to enable their use in high temperature applications.

The Master-Clip Iso Silicone hose, is highly flexible and has an outer helix that protects against abrasion and scuffing and is flame retardant. It is suitable for extraction of industrial fumes at high temperatures, and removal of engine exhaust gas fumes at high temperatures.

If you work within Automotive, Aerospace or Shipbuilding industries, or general engineering, this is the hose for you. It has a temperature range of -60ºC to +300ºC (intermittent to +350ºC).

Should your application require additional features such as vibration resistance, there are other hoses in the range which have been designed to meet these needs.

MC_IsoCar hose

The Master-Clip Iso Car is one of these. A  2 ply special coated high temperature fabric ducting with external galvanised steel helix. Again this is a highly flexible ducting with an outer helix protects against abrasion and scuffing making it suitable for more robust applications. It is vibration proof, and abrasion resistant. High temperature exhaust gases in heavy industry where vibration is involved would find this product highly beneficial. This high temperature product has a temperature range of -60ºC to +300ºC (intermittent to +350ºC).

These are just two of the products in this industrial hose range, the entire range of heated hoses produced in our site at Oldham, Manchester, can be seen by clicking the link below.

Exhaust extraction

Masterflex is a Manufacturer and Supplier of vehicle exhaust extraction for cars, buses, trucks fire engines, and emergency vehicles

Within a closed area, although vehicles are run only a short length of time, while the vehicle is being tested or worked upon, carbon monoxide (exhaust fumes) can build. The carbon monoxide is odourless and it is easy for the fumes to build in pockets around the room. If these exhaust emissions are not extracted safely and controlled, they can cause those working upon the vehicle to become ill. They can also damage to the sensitive electronics of diagnostic and servicing equipment in the workshop.

To ensure the safety of mechanics and those working in this field, Exhaust extraction at source is needed.

The most effective method of removing of vehicle exhaust fumes is capture them at source…

Masterflex manufactures and supplies a range of hoses to capture these vehicle exhaust gases,  providing a safer working environment.

Carflex 200 is one example from the Masterflex Exhaust Gas Extraction Range

CARFLEX 200

Carflex 200: with neoprene-coated polyester fabric clamp profile spiral, hot dip galvanised steel band, and additional outer scuff protection profile is highly flexible. Allowing it to be used in even the most confined spaces to suit your working environment. Vibration proof, with good flow characteristics, it is super lightweight and extremely compressible to approx 1:5

It benefits from high tension-proof construction of the wall lining and spiral via a special clamp mechanism.

Adhering to TRBS 2153 (Zone 1,21) for non-flammable dusts and gases with low conductivity for dissipation of electrostatic charges with double ended grounding of clips and radiant of <30 mm. Boasting a temperature range of +200ºC with exhaust regulators and sufficient air supply.

If you want to find out more about the range of hoses at Masterflex Technical hoses Ltd, visit http://www.masterflex-uk.com or telephone 0161 626 8066 we would be happy to help you sustain a safer working environment.
